IMPORTANT: MARSHALLING INFORMATION
Would all participants please note that under no circumstances should any competitor use
a substitute for their marshalling duties. It is down to the individuals to marshal
and not be replaced by any other than themselves.
IF YOU FAIL TO MARSHAL YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
FROM YOUR NEXT RIDE
It is important that you turn up on your specified night.
NO MARSHALS = NO RACE!

All marshals MUST sign on by 7pm latest.
Marshals must now take the 'Cycle Race In Progress' signs and fix in position before the race and return them to the HQ after the race. Riders who have not marshalled before please ask the Chief Marshal for instructions.
Lead Car Drivers
Should be at least 100 meters in front of the groups at all times to allow
adequate warning to marshals and other road users.
Medic
Rides in the Race Controller's car at the rear of the field.
Organiser
Must be at the event 1 hour before the Start. Complete the signing on sheets/ Hand out
numbers/collect the numbers after the event and place in numerical order/ Pass on numbers
to the next Organiser and collect £5.
Chief Marshal
Must be at the event 45 minutes before the Start/ Allocate marshals around the course with flags,
jackets and warning signs/ Place and collect warning signs where marshals are not present/ Place and
collect the Finish area equipment (if necessary)/ Pass on the flags and equipment to the next
Chief Marshal and collect £5.
Race Controller
Must be at the event 45 minutes before the Start/ Drive the following car at the rear of the
race/arrange for 3/4 lead cars and distribute and collect the warning lights/ Pass on the lights to the
next Race Controller and collect £5.
