Race Head Quarters
BLYTH CRICKET CLUB. Entrance is just as you are coming into Blyth on the A634 from Maltby/Oldcotes.

7.15pm for the first 3 events.
7.30pm for the last 3 events.
Signing on will open - 6.15pm.
Signing on will close - 7.00pm
Lap Distance:
Lap Distance: 4.8 miles x 6 laps = 28.8 miles (Distance may be reduced depending on weather conditions).
Race Dates
April 22nd, 29th, May 6th, 7.30pm start 13th, 20th, 27th.
Marshals
It is important that you turn up on your specified night. NO MARSHALS = NO RACE! IF YOU FAIL TO MARSHAL YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM YOUR NEXT RIDE! YOU HAVE TO MARSHAL INSTEAD.
All marshals MUST sign on by 7pm latest.
Marshals must now take the 'Cycle Race In Progress' signs and fix in position before the race and return them to the HQ after the race. Riders who have not marshalled before please ask the Chief Marshal for instructions.
Lead Cars
Should be at least 100 meters in front of the groups at all times to allow adequate warning to marshals and other road users.
Medic
Rides in the Race Controller's car at the rear of the field.
Organiser
Must be at the event 1 hour before the Start. Complete the signing on sheets/ Hand out numbers/ Collect the numbers after the event and place in numerical order/ Pass on numbers to the next Organiser and collect £5.
Chief Marshal
Must be at the event 45 minutes before the Start/ Allocate marshals around the course with flags, jackets and warning signs/ Place and collect warning signs where marshals are not present/ Place and collect the Finish area equipment (if necessary)/ Pass on the flags and equipment to the next Chief Marshal and collect £5.
Race Controller
Must be at the event 45 minutes before the Start/ Drive the following car at the rear of the race/ Arrange for 3/4 lead cars and distribute and collect the warning lights/ Pass on the lights to the next Race Controller and collect £5.
